Our People

Whether it’s reading, writing, empathy or physical fitness, our highly trained educators are there to guide, nurture and develop your child as they reach each precious milestone. Our educators design our environment and interactions to promote learning, and we adapt programs and experiences based on each child’s individual needs. We also build in expertise from other valued sources such as parents, health professionals and other members of the wider community.

We welcome children from all cultural backgrounds and benefit from having an Aboriginal Liaison Officer visit regularly. We have a qualified teacher from Sri Lanka who can interpret for families from this region. Inclusion support professionals also join us on occasion to help ensure that our learning program is accessible and equitable.

“Being an Affinity-ite means supporting each other and the children to grow and achieve our best. It’s very much about teamwork, having fun, and, for me, doing what I love doing – working with children.”
